Blue and Gold Banquets are a tradition in Cub Scout packs. They are a celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the BSA on February 8, 1910, and the start of cub scouting in 1930. Our pack typically holds its Blue and Gold in March.
Annual Egg Drop Challenge. Cubs get to test their engineering skills and use their creative minds to come up with the best design.
Pinewood derby is an event where cub scouts get to design their own cars with their parents using a kit, and race it against other cubs.
Cub scouts enter their race cars and compete for first, second and third place and best design.
They learn about aerodynamics, design, reading and following instructions but most of all have fun. Our pack holds combines its Pinewood Derby with the Blue & Gold.
Family Camping weekend takes place at least two times a year at a scout camp. Cubs can't wait to use what they have learned in the program and enjoy the great outdoors with the pack.
Thunderbird Games is a traditional Council-wide Scouting event where Scouts BSA, Explorer and Venturing units, run games for Cub Scouts. There are typically over 40 games/program areas for Cubs to pick from. It is an open program where Cubs can visit games in the order that they choose as many times as they would like. This event is held in October.
Cubs get to design their own boat from a kit and compete against each other for the fastest boat.
